Tebufenpyrad is an acaricide used on vines, citrus, vegetables, cotton, and fruit. It is trade named as Masai and Pyraniea. Tebufenpyrad is a pyrazole amide synthesized from the reaction of 1-methyl-3-ethyl-4-chloro-5-carboxylate pyrazole and 4-tert-butylbenzylamine.
