4. Aftercare
The success of treatment is

blood clot. For the first 24 hours
after an extraction, patients are
advised not to use straws, spit,
rinse, or smoke.
5. Healing
In about 6 weeks, the majority
of the jaw bone will fill in the
hole where the tooth was, and
the process will be completed
in about 6 months.

impairs the smile. For moderate
occurrences of overcrowding,
some dentists recommend
orthodontic treatment.
