Northwest Territorial (NWT) Mint was founded in 1984 in Auburn, Washington. Today, it is the largest private mint the United States of America and its presence has spread to over seven locations. ; it currently employs the most experienced team of sculptors in the industry. These master sculptors work by engraving artwork onto large plaster sculpts so that the dies used to stamp the products are as detailed as possible. After the master sculptors are satisfied with their work, the NWT Mint uses the latest technology to transform the sculpts into the finished products.
