As founder, chairman, and CEO of Globetrotters Engineering Corporation, Niranjan Shah is an active member of the Chicago, Illinois community, participating in business, public service, and academia. Originally appointed by Governor George Ryan in 2002, Niranjan Shah is a current member of the Illinois State Police Merit Board. Under the appointment of Mayor Richard Daley, Niranjan Shah served as a member of the Economic Development Commission of Chicago from 1992 to 1997.
Niranjan Shah also participated in public service on a national level. He contributed to the National Finance Committee for the Democratic National Convention from the years 1992 to 2004.
