The concept of a "Mother's Bank" emerged as part of an exercise to co-create a new Financial Institution or a Fund and eventually a Bank to manifest a new economy based on Love and Oneness. The current experiment is based on Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga and (Mira Alfassa) the Mother's dream of "money would no longer be the sovereign lord." While the early prototypes for this are being experimented in Auroville, the intention is to create a model that works for all.
