Top News :
• Godrej Consumer Products Ltd has entered into an agreement with the Darling Group for enhancing its Phase 1 holdings. Consequent to this,
it will gain full control of the Nigeria business. This move is in-line with GCPL's intent of gradually getting to full control of the Darling country
businesses. GCPL had completed the acquisition of 51% stake in Darling Nigeria in September 2011.
• Info Edge has bought shares, from certain angel investors for an amount of about Rs.15 million, of Canvera Digital Technologies Private
Limited, which is engaged in the business of providing solutions to professional photographers. It owns and operates the website
www.canvera.com.The aggregate investment, including the above, is now Rs. 435 million in Canvera Digital Technologies Private Limited which
translates to about 27% stake in the company on a fully converted and diluted basis
• Concor Mgt Guideline : Company managed to reduce the exports-import gap, which was at 22 percent last year in the first three quarters.
Imports grew only at around 2.5 percent while exports grew at around 17 percent, . Company hopes this trend will continue, going ahead. The
company's capacity utilisation is quite high – at around 94 percent and some of the terminals even run at more than 100 percent.
• IDFC Mgt Guideline : The company said it has been witnessing stress in the power areas . The fiscal guidance on NPLs ( (non-performing
loans) could be around 1-1.5 percent.On FY14 average loan book, Mgt said . Average loans for the first nine months of this fiscal, as against the
last fiscal, were much higher than the 1 percent growth and that is reflected in the NII for our loans increasing by 7 percent. Loan book growth
for this fiscal will be flat at best
• Kingfisher Airlines Ltd has informed that the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka has passed an Order admitting a winding-up petition filed by
Aerotron Limited, an unsecured creditor of the Company against the Company. The Company is in the process of filing an appeal against the
aforesaid order of admission.
• Thomas Cook Clarification : News regarding "Thomas Cook may Check into Sterling", Thomas Cook (India) Ltd has clarified to BSE
that:Company is in preliminary discussions with various companies in the travel and related businesses including Sterling Holiday Resorts (India)

• The Board of Directors of Tech Mahindra Ltd has approved that Increase in limit of investment by Fll from the existing 45% to 48% of the
paid up capital of the Company.
• U.K. construction purchasing managers' index rose to a seasonally adjusted 64.6 last month from a reading of 62.1 in December. Economists
had expected the index to ease down to 61.5 in January.
• Eurostat said that its producer price index eased up by a seasonally adjusted 0.2% in December, in line with expectations. Producer prices
dipped 0.1% in November.
• Spain’s Employment Ministry said the number of unemployed people increased by a seasonally adjusted 113,100 last month, disappointing
expectations for a decline of 21,000. The number of unemployed people fell by 107,600 in December.
