The Global Commission on Adaptation seeks to accelerate adaptation
action and support.
The Commission will elevate the political visibility of climate adaptation
and encourage bold solutions such as smarter investments, new
technologies and better planning to become more resilient to climate-
related threats.

6. Core Deliverables
• A Flagship Report, to be released in September 2019, that will
present a compelling vision of an agenda for scaled-up and
transformative adaptation.
• A set of Action Tracks representing key, tractable adaptation
challenges, including food security and rural livelihoods, finance, and
locally led adaptation.
• From late 2019-2020, a Year of Action to advance the
recommendations from the flagship report and the action tracks.
