3. INTRODUCTION:
VASAVI MOVEMENT- A Brief note
A need was strongly felt to bring all Vysya Community to a
common platform and enable them to exchange their ideas &
views and felicitate Arya Vysyas from different fields in those
days.
With these aims & objectives the FIRST VASAVI CLUB was
started in 1961 on 1st October.
Initially with only 11 members at Hyderabad.
The 1st club was started by Late. Sri Kalvakunta Chandrasena
Gupta(K.C. Gupta), freedom fighter who is regarded as not
only the founder of Vasavi clubs but also as the “Father of
Vasavi Movement”
5. “KCGF”: K.C.GUPTA FELLOWSHIP
The greatest honour VCI can bestow is its recognition of an
vasavian/individual as K.C.Gupta Fellow.
KCGF was introduced in the year 1995.
This idea is derived from:
1. LION clubs;MJF:Melvin John Fellowship
2. ROTARY clubs; PHF: Paul Harish Fellowship
3. JESIS clubs;HGF: Henry Gissamber Fellowship
The main intention was to raise Corpus fund in the name of
our “father of vasavi movement”.
6. HOW TO BECOME A “KCGF”
MEMBER?
By contributing a sum of Rs. 2500/- any Arya Vysya can
become a KCGF Donor, which is a wonderful recognition.
“KCGF” does not have any age limit.
To become a “KCGF” every member should fill KCGF
Donor form & biodata- FORMAT: 1005
WHAT WILL A KCGF DONOR RECEIVE?
A Donor will receive a PIN and a PLAQUE featuring Vasavi
monogram, Photo of K.C. Gupta and the Donor’s name will
be inscribed on the plaque.
And above all this a member will get an incredible
recognition in Vasavi clubs.

Under the banner of ‘Vasavi Saraswathi Pathakam’ on
matching grant basis to the clubs upto a maximum value of
Rs. 5000/- to each club of the project cost up to a tune of
Rs.10,000/- per Project per Annum.
