The CFA Program is one of the most recognized and respect-
ed professional designations within the global investment
industry. For candidates entering the investment field, profes-
sionals increasing their expertise and marketability, and peo-
ple making a career change into the world of financial analy-
sis from other disciplines, the CFA Charter will position you at
the forefront of career opportunities within the investment

In three successive exams you will be assessed on a wide
range of subjects including ethics, quantitative techniques,
economics, financial reporting & analysis, corporate finance,
equity, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments and
portfolio management. The knowledge you gain while study-
ing will be invaluable to your future career, and the CFA
charter has become universally recognized by employers and
investors as a mark of excellence and integrity within their
profession.
CFA EXAM DETAILS
The CFA Program includes a series of three exams that are
offered in test centers around the world. These three exams
— Level I, Level II, and Level III — must be passed sequen-
tially as one of the requirements for earning a CFA charter.
EXAM CONTENT
 The Level I exam asks you basic knowledge and compre-
hension questions focused on investment tools; some
questions will require analysis.
 The Level II exam emphasizes more complex analysis,
along with a focus on valuing assets.
 The Level III exam focuses on synthesizing all of the con-
cepts and analytical methods in a variety of applications
for effective portfolio management and wealth plan-
ning.
To earn a CFA charter, you must:
 Complete the CFA Program
 Pledge to adhere to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and
Standards of Professional Conduct
 Have four years of qualified investment work experience
 Become a regular member of CFA Institute and apply for
membership to a local CFA member society.

FINANCIAL RISK MANAGER
The FRM® is a globally recognized certificate of competen-
cy in Financial Risk Management conferred by GARP®. The
certification is awarded to candidates passing the FRM®
examination conducted by GARP®. FRM® is meant for pro-
fessionals wishing to take up a career in the field of Risk
Management in any investment institution across the
globe. The risk manager’s job involves assessing, estimating
and measuring, controlling and managing the risks of in-
vestments. This is an integral part of the investment process.
Towards this end, FRM® is the Global Benchmark for the
Financial Risk Management professionals in the industry.
Instructors are leading Risk Management professionals from
banking and financial services industry. The FRM exam is
very different from other academic exams like university
exams. FRM tests not only candidates’ deep understanding
of the fundamentals of the subject but more than that it
tests the candidates’ skill in applications of the theories in
