‘Nadine, while being flexible she is a purist at heart and she insists on good preparation. The
final film products were a credit to the students, but also a lot to do with this incredible
teacher who has an obvious flare for communicating. Nadine made students ‘think outside
the square’ and take risks with their ideas. She even had one sixteen-year old student
arrange to film with his crew in an industrial warehouse, in a hotel room in a big city hotel,
in the Adelaide Airport control room and on a 737 aircraft as it sat on the tarmac!’ (Andrew
Jefferis BA Hons. Dip Ed, Head of the Academy at Scotch College 2004).
