Match Details:
KKR vs RCB
April 19, 8.00PM IST
Eden Gardens, Kolkata
Indian Premier League 2019 Match Prediction and Preview:
KKR are on a three match losing spree, with two of those losses coming at home – against
Delhi and CSK. The track at Edens has been assisting the stroke-makers off late, with hardly
anything on offer for the spinners, and with KKR having a plethora of spinners, the home
advantage has often been negated for them. RCB on the other hand, have won just one match,
and are more or less out of this edition of the Indian Premier League.
The two teams hence will be under a lot of pressure, with the home team desperate for a win
that will get their tournament back on track. The pitch here will aid the teams batting second
– KKR lost their two matches here while batting first – so toss will have an important role to
play. For RCB, Dale Steyn has been called upon as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile,
and he is expected to start.
Fantasy Expert Prediction – The toss will be a crucial role in this upcoming game of IPL
2019. Both teams are under pressure, and will be eager to have a go at Eden Gardens. KKR
and RCB both have been unable to get their combinations right, and hence it is tough to
predict which side will emerge triumphant. It will all boil down to the performance on the
day.

2. Dotball Prediction 11-
Dotball Fantasy Tips –
Parthiv Patel has been chosen over Karthik for two primary reasons – he opens the innings,
which allows him more scope to get a big knock, and secondly as he comes cheaper than the
KKR skipper. With expensive players like AB de Villiers, Kohli and Russell in my team,
having a cheap alternative helps.
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are must-haves in the team, while Nitish Rana comes into the
side from KKR, due to his skills with the ball as well. Last year he had dismissed both Kohli
and ABD at Edens, and the skipper would want him to replicate his feats. He is also a solid
player up the order, and will look to pitch in with some crucial runs.
The presence of Andre Russell and Sunil Narine is a no-brainer, with the two being
responsible for many KKR wins over the seasons. Russell in particular has been in ominous
form, and Narine, who has not yet made an impact with the bat, would be eager to do just
3. that. Stoinis has been playing handy knocks, while Negi has been preferred over Ali, as he is
cheaper, and can bowl a few economical overs as well. He played his first game for RCB
against KKR this season, faring well, and will be eager to continue his form.
Chahal has been bowling on flat decks for over six years in the IPL, and has tasted success,
while his partner in Team India – Kuldeep has not been amongst the wickets, but has been
economical in the last three or four games. Piyush Chawla has been an underrated player for
KKR, and he rounds up my Dream11 team.

Dream11 Prediction 11-
Dream11 Fantasy Tips – As I can pick up only three all-rounders in my Dream11 team, I
have overlooked Negi and brought in Moeen Ali for Stoinis, as the Englishman is 0.5 credits
cheaper than Stoinis. This allows me to field four batters – AB de Villiers, Kohli and Rana
remain from the Dotball Fantasy team, while I have included Gill.
The youngster fared well when he was pushed up the order against Delhi, but was sent in to
bat in the death against CSK, which led to his downfall. Karthik, KKR’s skipper, should have
realized the need of sending the young star up the order, and if he indeed bats in the top-4,
Gill can be a game-changer. I also have dropped Kuldeep, as he has not picked many wickets,
and with Dream11 not giving points for dot balls, picking him is not such a wise move. Matt
Kelly – if he plays – will be his ideal replacement in the Fantasy Team.
