3. The P39/5455 Prospect has been known as
either Homeward Bound South or Federation
South and the new un-worked Line on the
western side of the ground is Kalata.
The tenement has at least two lines of gold mineralisation running through it with
a number of shafts situated on one of the lines. The tenement has historic State
Battery recorded production of 1.385 kg at 81.47g/t. The same line of old workings
continues along strike to the north and into the adjoining tenement where just
across the boundary Homeward Bound has an estimated resource of 30,000 BCM
at 2.65g/t to a depth of 50 metres amounting to over 7600 ounces. As the holders
of that tenement also held the ground covered by P39/5455 at the time the
resource was calculated, part of the resource might be within P39/5455. This
adjoining tenement has recorded production of over 55.448 kg at 43.728 g/t.
Along strike to the south the same host structure (Federation Fault/Shear)
continues into vacant ground. This ground is within a declared Goldfield and only
applications for P.L.s or M.L.s are allowed. No E.L.s are permitted.
