RETAKING TASKS FOR OUTSTANDING PUPILS
1st TERM
There will be 4 different parts:
EXAM LISTENING WRITING PROJECT
and you will have to pass all or some of them depending on your marks during
the first term.
These tasks or tests will be taken in this way:
EXAM: JANUARY, THURSDAY 19th
LISTENING: DURING A BREAK IN JANUARY
WRITING: JANUARY, TUESDAY 10th
PROJECT: DURING BREAKS IN JANUARY (IN TURNS)
WRITING TOPIC (for ordinary students):
“Are you for or against using animals for medical research”
o 4 paragraphs
o What is the situation at the moment?
o What arguments for using animals for medical research can you think of?
o What arguments against can you think of?
o What is your personal opinion and why?
o 110-130 words.
WRITING TOPIC (for P. Diversificacion students):
“The 90s” (the decade you were born)
o 4 paragraphs
o What positive events happened in the decade 1990-2000?
o What negative events happened?
o What music and films were popular?
o What new invention changed the world or our lives?
o 90-110 words.
PROJECT TOPIC:
“Weddings all around the world”
o Design a presentation (powerpoint, movie-maker, ...) about the topic.
o Get ideas about weddings in different cultures or countries (traditions,
ceremonies, clothes, ...)
o It´s very important to use photos.
o Explain with your words what the project is about, but don´t use too much
text or information in the powerpoint presentation.
o You mustn´t read during the presentation
