RETAKING TASKS FOR OUTSTANDING PUPILS
1st TERM
There will be 4 different parts:
EXAM LISTENING WRITING PROJECT
and you will have to pass all or some of them depending on your marks during
the first term.
These tasks or tests will be taken in this way:
EXAM: JANUARY, MONDAY 14th
LISTENING: DURING A BREAK IN JANUARY
WRITING: JANUARY, THURSDAY 10th
PROJECT: JANUARY, TUESDAY 15th
WRITING TOPIC (for ordinary students):
“Tragedy on the Titanic”
o 4 paragraphs
o You were one of the voyagers at the moment of the accident:
o What were you doing there? Why were you travelling to the USA?
o What happened?
o What was your experience? How did you live the tragedy?
o How could you survive?
o 110-130 words.
PROJECT TOPIC (in pairs):
“TV News”
o Design a presentation (powerpoint, movie-maker, ...) about the topic.
o Get news about:
o El Astillero
o Cantabria
o Spain
o The world
o Sports
o Weather
o It´s very important to use photos.
o Be TV presenters, but don´t use too much text or information in the
powerpoint presentation (only headlines and a bit of information).
o You mustn´t read during the program.
