The scientific inquiry cycle diagram shows the process of scientific investigation. It begins with asking questions and reflecting on what is known. This leads to forming a hypothesis about what might happen. Tests are then designed and conducted to collect data to evaluate the hypothesis. Findings are recorded, discussed with others, and presented. New questions may then arise to continue the cycle of inquiry.
