This document contains multiple charts and graphs from various studies about media usage trends over time. It shows that time spent watching TV and listening to music has decreased for youth since 1999, while time spent playing video games and using computers has increased. It also shows differences in media usage among ethnic groups. Additional charts show increasing mobile phone and smartphone adoption over time, especially for social networking, photos and videos. The document advocates using hashtags to organize tweets and streaming tweets over music videos to engage audiences.
