3. Troy Cornwell It would be simple to use Slide Share in an educational setting. I am a high school history teacher by trade. I could assign a group project where a slide show could be the end result. The students could each research and create their own part of the slide show. Then they could them all into one slide show using Slide Share. It would be very easy for them to do instead of “sharing” a thumb drive and having one group member responsible for putting the show together. It would be a much more genuine collaboration using Slide Share.
4. Melanie Strals Slide Share would also be a useful tool in the media center setting. As a media specialist, one of my major duties is to collaborate with teachers to teach information literacy skills in the context of what students are learning in the classroom. I could use Slide Share to collaborate with other teachers in creating presentations for classes that we teach together. I like that Slide Share is online and is accessible from any computer with an Internet connection. Even more so, I enjoy the fact that Slide Share is a resource that is freely available to registered users.
