appointment with our Intake Specialist

funded?
In order to provide services to our Ward 7 residents,
we receive funding from government, individuals
and private foundations.
mission
The mission of East River Family Strengthening
Collaborative, Inc. is to empower families, youth and
communities to become more self-sufficient through
integrated and collaborative community based services.
We do this by collaborating with community residents
and organizations (public and private) to:
•	 reduce the number of children from entering the
child welfare system of care
•	 increase supports to families
•	 provide services to prevent homelessness
•	 increase financial self sufficiency
•	 decrease youth violence
•	 We also collaborate with community residents and
organizations to improve the quality of life for
Ward 7’s residents.
vision
The Ward 7 community will be equipped with the tools
and skills to dramatically increase self-sufficiency and
family stabilization through nationally recognized best
practices developed by ERFSC and our partners.

•	 To expand and maintain a community-based child
welfare service delivery system
•	 To provide a continuum of care that strengthens
family functioning through various initiatives that
promote family stabilization, family preservation,
family support and community capacity building
services
•	 To improve the quality of life for an ever increasing
number of residents in Ward 7
•	 To increase our corporation partners’ capacity to
service residents
•	 To recruit the right people who deliver on the
service commitment
