4. DBQ Essay Diagnostic
• Answer all DBQ questions in complete sentences.
• Write at least a one (1) page essay on the topic
using the DBQs as evidence.
• Try to organize your essay based on the three
requirements: the problem America faced, what
President Washington did, and how it impacted
American history.
• Give an introduction & conclusion.
5. Student Folders
• After Diagnostic, students can put returned
work in their folders. Students will leave
folders in the file cabinet in Mr. Van Nort’s
room.
• Keep all your material in the folder. If there
is an error in your grade, your materials will
act as evidence for convincing Mr. Van Nort
to change your grade.
• Folders will also be graded for Habits of
Work Grade on a regular basis (every 2-3
weeks).
