3. Early Life Abigail Adams was born on November 11, 1744. She was always sick as a young girl, so she could not attend school. She married John Adams when she was twenty years old. They had five children together. Abigail had to manage the children and the family farm all by herself while her husband was away!
4. Writings Abigail Adams started the movement for the rights for women. She wrote letters to her husband which helped with a lot of rights for our country, and women. Abigail was also a private advisor to her husband which helped him make decisions during his presidency. She tried to help put an end to slavery
5. Place in the Enlightenment The woman who got everything started for women. Believed in personal freedom, for everyone. She wanted everyone to have equal rights.
6. Most Interesting Fact I think the most interesting thing about Abigail Adams is how she was very independent. She managed things herself and took care of herself. She was also very strong, by helping the women of our country and sticking up for what she believed in no matter what.
