my mind’s

what could be

we had forever and
the only memories

“One of my favorite
photographs that I have ever
taken is of an old man praying
in church. Like every Sunday, I
attended mass at my church
and noticed an older man
sitting behind that looked so
sad. I could not help but taking
a photograph of him.”

“Growing up, I always
heard stories that
if you cut a tornado
with a machete or
shoot a bullet into it,

24. 1. The camera is not as
important, but to have a good
eye is key.
2. Learn the technique without
getting too hung up on it. Simply
learn the basics and go from
there.
3. Learn by experimenting.
Find a unique style, something
that makes your photographs
different than the billions of
pictures out there.
4. Decide whether you want to do
Fine Art, Commercial, Editorial or
Advertising photography.
5. Look for who your potential
clients are (Galleries, Ad
Agencies…) and bug the heck
out of them until they pay
attention to you.
