1. Institute of Internal Communication – London summer party
We’re seeing out the summer with a sizzling social at one of London’s loveliest open-air venues,
complete with cool jazz and even cooler Pimm’s.
Join us for an evening of relaxed networking (no speeches or presentations, we promise!) with
comms colleagues from across the region.
We’re gathering at one of Bloomsbury’s finest settings – the garden and conservatory of the Grange
White Hall Hotel, right by the British Museum – for delicious canapés, washed down with a glass or
two of our favourite summertime tipple, accompanied by the sounds of an all-star jazz band.
Back by popular demand after performing at last year’s summer social,TrevorTomkins, one of the
British jazz scene’s best-known drummers, returns with legendary guitar player Jim Mullen and
London-basedAmerican saxophonist Dave Lewis.They will be joined by organist Bill Mudge for an
evening of hard-bop, jazz fusion and jazz standards.
Make a note of the date: 16 September 2014. This will be a great opportunity to catch up with
colleagues and for new members to meet fellow communicators. London committee members –
including the newly elected London chair, Nada Zbirek – will be on hand to introduce you to some of
London’s finest comms professionals.
We’ve kept the cost down to £25
(+VAT), which includes canapés, two
glasses of Pimm’s (or wine/beer) and
soft drinks.
