Geocaching involves finding hidden containers around the world using GPS coordinates. The first geocache was placed in 2000 in the United States. Now there are geocaches in over 200 countries. A geocache contains a logbook to sign your name and may have small items to trade. To find a geocache, you need a GPS device or geocaching app to search for caches near a location. Once located, you follow the coordinates, sign the log, and rehide the cache for others to find.
