Mala, Lara and Tara are cousin sisters. Tara is
3times elder to Lara and Lara is 3times elder to Mala.
After 9 years Lara age will be 2/3rd of the Tara’s
current age and Mala’s age will be sum of Mala’s and
Tara’s current age.
Find out the current age of these sisters.
4. Answer and Explanation for question-1
Ans: After 8 years Mala age is 9 yrs, Lara age is 11 yrs, and Tara age is
17yrs.
• So the present age of Mala is 1yr, Lara is 3yr, and Tara is 9yrs
Explanation:
Consider Mala=M, Lara=L, Tara=T
• T=3L=9M
• L+9=2(T+9)/3=2X(3L+9)/3=2L+6
• 2L-L=9-6=3
• Lara current age is =3 years
• T=3L =Tara=3x3=9
• Tara current age is 9
• 9M= 3L,M=3x3/9= M=1
• Mala current age is 3
• After 8years M=1+8=9, L=3+8=11, T=9+8=17

Swetha is aged double the age of her brother,
their father age is exactly 4 time more than
swetha’s age. After 6 years father age will be
exactly 9 times more than his son’s present age.
Find everyone’s present age.

Rama age is 1/3 of the Barathan. Lakshman age is
double of the Rama’s age. Dasharathan age is
1/4th of the Lakshman age. Eravanan age is ½ of
the Barathan age and 3/4th of the Lakshman age.
Hanuman age 50 he is 5 times elder than
Dasarathan.
Order the name based on the age in descending

(40yrs), Eravanan (30yrs), Rama(20yrs) And
Dasarathan (10yrs).

kannan, Balan, Gopal and Krishnan are
brothers. Balan age is 6 times less than his grand
father age. Kannan age is half of the Balan age.
Krishnan age is double of the Balan age and
1/3rd of the grand father age. Gopal age is triple
time more than kannan age.

Ans: The age gap between the brothers are same.
• Kannan age is 6
• Balan age is 12.
• Gopal age is 18,
• krishnan is 24yrs.
