Ullr Labs has released a new iPhone app called MAST that functions as a digital snow and avalanche field notebook. It allows users to record and upload snow pit data, field observations, and download avalanche forecasts. Observations can be easily recorded and transmitted to avalanche centers, and warnings are generated when observations fall in danger zones. The app provides tools for professionals and recreationalists to record avalanche data, access forecasts, and promote safe backcountry practices.
