Narrative Summary
Describe the employee's performance for each Critical element. A narrative summary must be written for each
element assigned a rating of Exceptional, Minimally Successful, or Unsatisfactory.
Janelle has been rated "Superior" for her archeological data management at Death Valley in 2010. Janelle
is well versed in using various archeological data management programs, including the online ASMIS
database, the DEVA archeological geodatabase, and various access based park databases for organizing
project information. She is knowledgeable about ArcMap, and helpful with coworkers when they have
questions about the program. She created project templates and user guides for creating archeological
site location and sketch maps using ArcMap. Janelle spent considerable time creating and editing digital
maps for the Bonnie Clare Road project, and completed professional quality products for inclusion in that
report. She is well organized, and her workspace and the park files are kept in good condition.
