Animal rights activism can be started in small steps. Simple things can be done even from home that have the potential to make a difference, particularly if enough of us engage. We can act as individuals, or as part of a group or organisation.

tential to make a difference, particularly if enough of us

Write Letters
Writing letters can help spread the word about animal
rights and highlight injustices. These can include letters of
complaint to people exploiting animals, such as companies
that use animal testing, film producers, or media channels
that promote or allow practices such as animals in circuses.
We can also write positive messages thanking people who
actively promote animal welfare.
Focus on Key Areas
There are multiple ways in which animals are harmed or
exploited for human desire. To be effective it may be better
to choose one or two key areas of activism and become
knowledgeable about those, rather than trying to deal with
every issue at once. This means there can be more focus
to your arguments and personal strengths can be more
effectively utilised.
