– Facilitated decision for changing county based Cooperative Extension
specialties through promotion and curriculum development
– Taught variety of consumer and family economic formal education
classes
– Written over 25 consumer publications around financial education and
consumer health policy education
Tested a NE voluntary insurance purchasing group law

• Tested NE state law regarding voluntary insurance purchasing
groups through education program and evaluation of project
→ 1000 citizens expressed interest in forming a biddable
group
→ presented data to Unicameral committee to “tweek” law
• Created curriculum for health policy project having attention of
the National Rural Health Association as a potential national
model

maintaining health insurance in financial downturns.
