95 Youth matched through Mercy Home’s Friends First mentoring program, which
matches adult volunteers with at-risk children who live at home with their families.

9-17 Ages of young people participating in the Friends First mentoring program.
150+ Former Mercy Home residents actively participating in the AfterCare program,
which, for more than 20 years, has provided ongoing support to alumni for as long as
assistance is needed.

400+ total young men and women served each year through our three major
programs—Residential, AfterCare and Friends First.

99.7% Mercy Home operating support raised from private sources.
Mercy Home is nationally accredited by the Council of Accreditation of
Services for Families and Children, Inc. (COA). Mercy Home is a member of the
National Catholic Development Conference (NCDC), and has been cited as an
exemplary residential care agency in the State of Illinois by the Department
of Children and Family Services (DCFS) licensing office.
