- My name is Ryoko Yokoyama from MEASURE Evaluation, JSI. Today, I would like to talk about the community level program information system. My colleagues Edward Kunyanga from MACRO, Upama Khatri from JSI, Silvia Alayon (UNC), Timothy Williams (JSI) and Phillip Setel (UNC) have been involved in the development of the CLPIR toolkit, and other implementing partners in DC as well as in the field have also contributed to the development of the toolkit. Before I get into my presentation, I would like to acknowledge that the concept of “community level program information systems” covers so many different issues and many organizations are already working in this area. This is an attempt to offer a systematic and holistic approach that will allowed organizations to monitor the community level HIV/AIDS programs. While more and more focus is paid to the HIV/AIDS programs at the community level, it is often said that the quality of the information coming from the community level programs is inconsistent and inaccurate.
