Life4. Important Fact
To Start Off With...
Firstly, and most importantly. You must
remember, trees are your friends. However,
they are not your friends if they talk back to
you.
What A Skirmisher Does...
A skirmisher's job is to cover the main
allied army and sow confusion within
the enemy ranks, while covering the
flanks of the allied army.
Equipment and Firearms
The Baker Rifle is the
standard issue weapon
for the Rifleman, using
black powder and a lead
shot. In the hands of a
trained Rifleman, you too
have the ability to die
running away screaming
for help!TB – Original DiD - Advanced
We are also usually equipped with a 22 inch sword which in-
game is already mounted on the gun. You will be given 2
shirts, 2 jackets, 1 pair of boots, 1 pair of french cavalry
trousers, 1 pair of cotton gloves, and 3 pairs of sheepskin
socks. For a bonus you also get a cotton padded rifle strap.
The 95th
's 5 commandments – Because
we're too lazy to think of 10!
1. Thou shalt love trees as if they were your brother.
2. Performance on your legs as well as on your knees is important
and in fact practical if looking for promotion.
3. Thou Shalt not TeamKill, unless ordered too.
4. Trust in your Rifle, trust in the rifleman beside and trust in your
Officer/Loveable Dictator.
5. Use the pointy end.
6.Thou Shalt Hug Spiky things as though they were Jesus.
7.Thou Shalt Carry out commands without question.
8.Thou Shalt Hate Cavalry, even thine own.
9.Thou Shalt salute/headbang in front of a commander or General.
10.Thou Shalt Protect thy commander at all cost's.
The 60th
's 6-10 Commandments – To fill in
the lazy half!
Important Fact...
WE HATE
CAVALRY!
If you kill one, Steal their Sword
The First and most important thing
while in formation...
You want to look around.
You can't otherwise you mess up the formation and
get shouted at.
Problem solved!
Press The Key Just Below your escape
button and move your mouse!
'Blob' Formation
When being attacked by cavalry you must form a 'Blob'
The Arrows Represent which way each person is facing.
Whenever In this formation cover each other while you Reload
and Bayonet any cavalry that's stupid enough to attack you.
Colonel
Searjent-Major
Major
Triangle Formation
Another Formation to fight against both Cavalry and Infantry
allowing most Members Firing Capabilities.
Whenever In this formation cover each other. The people at
the back have the more difficult job of making sure nobody
attack's the rear flank.
Sjt.Major
Major
Colonel
Line Formation
We normally use this formation for presenting
ourselves to a general or in Training.
Major Sjt.Major
Colonel
Using This Formation In Battle will probablies never
happen however if it does you Fire on
command,Reload,Fire and then Charge.
Column Formation
Not Such a common formation among us, we usually use it
for parade, Training or just to look Fancy in an engagement.
Colonel
Major
Sjt.Major
When In this formation you march, keep an eye on the
people around you and make sure you are Safe. The
Colonel and Major Go At the front while the Searjent-
Major brings up the rear.
Single Column Formation
Colonel
Major
Searjent-Major
This is our normal march formation and we practice it a lot.
While in This Formation you stare at the person in front of
you and follow there every move. Keep an eye out for
dangers the Colonel may not have of seen.
Skirmish Formation
This is probablies our most used formation and we train
every time and we train hard. If you can't get your head
around this then skirmishing isn't for you!
Searjent-Major
Major
Cover the front line and the front line will cover you! We
sometimes use the 'Fire and Advance' technique which is
when the back line fire's, moves up, reloads and the front line
repeats it.
Front Line
