be replaced when used up
Examples: oil, natural gas, and coal
Renewable Resources are those that can be
replaced if used
Examples: sunlight, water, wood, and wind
3. If these resources are limited then why use
them?
They provide cheap and relatively efficient energy
These resources, such as oil, emit CO2 into the
atmosphere
These are called greenhouse gases
4. The greenhouse effect is caused by increase in
CO2 into the atmosphere, this causes heat to be
trapped in the atmosphere similar to how a
“greenhouse” works.
