If you are interested in studying transportation, UNL has a transportation
specialization for Civil Engineering students. https://engineering.unl.edu/civil/civil-

The US Department of Transportation sponsors the Dwight D. Eisenhower
Transportation fellowship program to:
• To attract qualified students to the fields of transportation education and research,
and to advance transportation workforce development.
• Eligible participants are students pursing degrees in transportation-related
disciplines starting from Sophomore Year to Doctoral level (Depending on
fellowship category).
Awards:
• Approximately 150 - 200 awards annually
