I provide this character reference on behalf of James Prince who is facing an assault charge.
I have known James Prince for 17 years, he attended the same scout group as my oldest son
of the same age. They also played in Junior Football League for a Bexley League team which
I helped run with parents.
I believe James to be a pleasant and well-mannered young man who at this time is suffering
from frustration due to not able to find gainful employment. I would not believe him to be the
type of person to react in an aggressive manner as I have been informed.
This is very inconsistent with James’s nature, and I’m sure he himself is completely
embarrassed of what has occurred if found out to be true which I doubt There must have been
something that triggered this off.
I would have no hesitation in reciting a character statement in court if needed
