COWL
With 1 strand each of A and B held tog and larger
needles, cast on 190 sts. Pm and join for working in
the rnd.
(RS) Begin Garter st; work 6 rnds.
Pm after every 19 sts.
(RS) Change to St st; dec 1 st after each marker
every 6th rnd 10 times – 90 sts rem.
AT SAME TIME, work 4th, 16th, 29th, 39th, 43rd,
50th, 57th, and 63rd rnds tog with C as follows: *
holding C in front, insert RH needle in hole along
edge of ribbon yarn and knit it tog with next st on LH
needle; rep from *, working in every other hole along
edge of C to create ruffle.
(RS) Change to smaller needles and Twisted Rib;
work 5 rnds.
Work one rnd tog with C.
Rep last 6 rnds 5 more times, then work 1 more rnd in
Twisted Rib.
Bind off all sts in rib.
FINISHING
