The survey results showed that the website worked well across different browsers and devices, with all pages loading properly. Image quality on the website was rated highly based on user feedback. While there were some minor punctuation and grammar errors, information content was largely accurate. Suggested changes from users included adding videos and a question/answer page. However, overall the website was deemed suitable for commercial use, meeting many of the client's objectives around functionality, aesthetics and usefulness.
2. Q1. Did the Website work on your
browser?
Q3. Do all the pages on the website
load?
The answer was 100% yes. All the end users could open the website
on various browsers and operating systems. In addition to this, all the
pages on the website loaded for 100% of my end users. These results
prove to my client and myself that the website is fully accessible by
the
public and my objective of having a fully functional website is
achieved. I did not make a graph for this data, as all the answers were
the same and displaying them on a graph would have been useless.
3. Q2. Rate the Image Quality on the
Website
This question was based on a
scale of 1-10, ten being the
highest and one being the
lowest. As you can see from
the graph, image quality on
the website is reasonably
high. From this, my
client and myself have
achieved the objective of
having high quality media
on the website.
4. Q4. Are there any errors with
information?
According to my end users, there
are no errors with the information
itself, which is very good. It shows
that my website is accurate,
achieving one of the objectives my
client had set for me. There are,
however, some Punctuation errors,
such as lack of full stops’ and
commas.
This can be altered, as well as the
grammar and spelling, when the
website is updated bi-monthly.
5. Q5. Rate the quality of information on
the website
From these results, the
objective of having accuracy
regarding the information
content is achieved. My
client will be very pleased
with these results, as they
show the website is appealing
to others and will be useful to
the world wide community.
6. Q6. Is there anything on the website
you would change?
As this was an open ended question, the answers varied.
Here are the results, and number of end users who stated
this:
Add Video (6)
Question Answer Page (2)
Change in Font (2)
This information is useful to my client, as it will inform her,
when the time comes to update or renovate the website,
what needs to be changed and added.
Although adding a video was an original objective, I failed to
deliver it, due to my clients budget and time constraints. It is
one thing I would change in my IEA.
7. Q7. Can the website be used
commercially?
All the answers to the question were ‘Yes’. This result shows that
my website is fit for purpose, and can be used in the real world.
The result shows the professional elements and good aesthetics of
the website, which was what my client wanted.
Overall, I have achieved most of my objectives. The image and
information quality is high, the information itself is accurate, and
the website is functional on all browsers.
However, I didn’t achieve the objectives of including a video and
question answer page on the website. I did not have a Q&A page
as the iWeb software did not have the gadget. I did not have the
video due to my clients time and budget constraints. Although I
failed these objectives, my website is still successful and its
purpose is achieved.
