Refelection Of Being A Lifelong Learner
1. During my four years of education obtaining my Bachelors degree in psychology I have realized a few important aspects about myself. This has been a long and strenuous journey but well worth it, during this time I have realized some strengths and weaknesses when it comes to my scholastic career. I have written many research papers during my four years of secondary education and I believe my weaknesses are APA formatting, using too many quotations, and sentence formatting. I will be striving to adjust these mistakes in the future of my writings to make them that much better. I feel that I have learned great techniques and have access to great resources’ in order to format my writings and I will be utilizing them continuously throughout the rest of my career. Some strength’s I believe I have obtained during this scholastic career are being able to have a nice flowing research paper that is well organized and easily understandable. I have also developed great research techniques and being able to distinguish a reliable resource from a non-reliable resource. During my time at Argosy University I have obtained an invitation to become part of the National Association of Collegiate Scholars during my online programs, this was a very great achievement for me and made me strive ever harder to complete this degree.
Being a lifelong learner has always been a goal in my life and now I can finally say that I have, in fact, obtained that goal and I have myself to thank for it. The motivation and dedication that I have had for the past four years has been a major asset for me and that is what has helped me finish my education. Even though I have obtained my bachelors degree and it feels great, this is not the end of my scholastic career, I plan to continue my education and start attending Certified addictions counselor (CAC) courses so I can obtain a certification. After I have obtained this I would like to continue on in a master’s program with an emphasis in criminal psychology. This has been a very amazing journey for me and I have learned a lot about myself while learning about different aspects of psychology, I have also realized that psychology is the career that I want to dedicate my life to because of the way it affects people lives and all of the different resources we have at our fingertips to help people when they need someone to talk to or if they are at their breaking point. I have learned so much over the past four years and there is no way that I can stop learning about this career field.
