1. iMovie Assignment
Your assignment must address the following criteria:
Be an instructional/demonstrative video (A simple How-To) - Topic must be appropriate for class
viewing, but is otherwise the student's preference.
2-4 mins in duration. Consider the scope of your desired project before beginning.
Assignment must include the following: Introduction segment, Video learning objectives
segment, Transitions, Descriptive text, Credit roll, Aesthetic continuity.
Students are to work in Groups of 2 - 4 people.
Assignment is Due Week Eleven by Class time in the D2L dropbox (one submission per group) -
We will have in class work time for editing during Week Ten
Students should partner with a group where access to a camera is possible. Unfortunately, the KSP
department cameras are not useable for this assignment. Students may have a Flip video camera, Cell
phone or other digital video recording device. Make sure you are comfortable with transferring video
from your group’s recording device to a computer and have the necessary equipment.
Students are also responsible for looking through this iMovie Support page to ensure their source video
is supported in iMovie.
