2. PROGRAM CONCEPT
• CAP-PBD is a credit program that provides credit
assistance to non-bank eligible ARB cooperatives
and farmers’ associations and graduates them into
bank-eligible organizations.

• The focus of interventions is the growth of ARB
organizations through institutional and enterprise
development assistance coupled with the provision of
small loans, with the aim of graduating these
organizations into the regular credit windows of
LANDBANK or other formal providers.

Field Validation cum Rapid Appraisal with Selected Program Beneficiaries This activity shall kick-off from the results of the internal assessment to validate the findings on the program implementation status over the years, and on the overall program analysis and generate their comments and recommendations to substantiate said assessment spearheaded by the National Program Secretariat. Serve as a venue to determine the immediate effect to beneficiaries’ production requirements and gather suggested schemes and implementation procedures to intensify its operationalization towards a more responsive and efficient delivery of support under the program. Program Assessment and Planning This activity shall focus on looking back on how the project fared in the recent years and in previous years for them to realize by themselves their performance trend, assets on the areas which need to be strengthened and/or enhanced to improve capacities at various levels. Relevant inputs to deepen field implementer’s understanding and influence their viewpoints to put premium to creating opportunities for ARB’s continuous access to credit which largely contributes to their over-all productivity (e.g.,introduction to social entrepreneurship, value-chain analysis, and BDS).
