Product : Junos Test Tools Development (JTT)
After running the regression tests against any Junos Builds, one of the main focuses of Junos
Testing is to debug the failed scripts and generating a report based on the debugged scripts.
This module which has a large consumer base inside of Juniper, plays a very crucial role in
the work of a regression engineer.

Product : Network Threat Response - NTR
McAfee Network Threat Response (NTR), a framework of next-generation detection
engines, is a passive network device that specializes in detecting user-side attacks commonly
known as Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs).
The main functions of the NTR are
a) Uses a hybrid of signature and heuristic detection mechanisms to find
executables, obfuscation and shell code in the user’s communication content and also
automating the analysis of obfuscated mobile code to understand the payload and
behavior of the malware.
b) Derives the unique aspects of an attack to facilitate the response and prevention of the
threat.
11 Title (Team) : Software Update Process ( 1 )
Environment : Ruby-1.8.7, Rails-3, JQuery, MySQL, CSS-3, HTML-5, Java
Design and Development of the complete Software Update Process of NTR which involves
the following
a) Global Update Repository which acts as a server exposes a RESTful API to provides
the latest release information and the downloads. This involved GUI design, Database
design and coding
b) NTR-server side logic to initiate and download the necessary release updates onto the
NTR-Server, thereby releasing a new ruby gem.
c) NTR-Appliance side logic to install the release updates onto them.
11 Title (Team) : VM Management Server and Client ( 1 )
Environment : Ruby, Apache Thrift
The VM Management Modules (Server and Client) are APIs similar to VM tools from
VMWare-VIX. The two main functions developed on the VM Management Server
(Win) and VM Management Client (*NIX)
1. file_upload : This is the file upload functionality from the guest(VM Client) to
the host(VM Server)
2. run_prog : This is the functionality to run programs or commands from the
Client remotely on the Server.

The 2 gems vm_management_server and vm_management_client have been created
for installation in the Host-Server(WinXP) and Guest-Client(*NIX) which helps to
transfer files and run programs remotely from the guest onto the host.
