2. Overview of Daffodil International University
• Private research university.
• Located in Daffodil Smart City,
Birulia, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
• Established on 24 January 2002
• Motto is-
“A Landmark to create the Future”
3. History
• The university has been founded by Daffodil Group with the
approval of the Ministry of Education under the Private
University Act of 1992
• Daffodil International University came into being on 24th
January 2002.

• This is a noticeable encouragement for the university
observing the rapid growth of the university. The university has
been started with 67 students registering in the first batch and
more than 15,000 students have been enrolled till date.

private universities of Bangladesh.
The university covers about 150
acres of land.

6. Daffodil Innovation Lab
Innovation Lab is the most state-of-the-art research and
development lab in Bangladesh. It is a place where
students can explore anything independently. They can
research and create innovative things according to their
own wish. All of these they can do in the innovation.
