Express Change is an application used in American Express Travel Service Offices (TSO) to
process and settle financial transactions. It is an automated point-of-sale tool to sell Foreign
exchange and stored value products such as Travelers Cheques and Gift Cards and to do Card
member servicing such as providing emergency cash or providing replacement card. The application
also supports legal and compliance processes such as Global Sanctions, Bank Secrecy Act and Anti
Money Laundering. Being a POS tool the application interacts with various peripherals such as
receipt printers, LaserJet printers, pin pads, card swipes etc. GFES currently utilizes the
international version of Express Change in many global locations. This project addressed the
configuration of 8 new branches for Boston Airport facility by utilizing the existing US version of
Express Change and provides an opportunity for the GFES business to expand their presence in the
US market.

Global New Accounts (GNA) is a Mainframe based application for card application
processing. It also processes product transfers and loan applications. It caters to the US domestic

The applications are captured via various sources like American express website, third party
capturing agencies, COSTCO, green screens etc. All the captured applications are fed to the Core
GNA process where the verification, duplicate check, risk decisioning etc will be performed. Once the
application passes through all the checks it will be approved and account setup will be done.

interfaces like online chat and also provide means to apply for suitable products. The website has
approximately 19 million unique visitors per month. On average, there are over 150,000 hits to the

The GSS (Global Solution Smart Link) application is the dealer facing portal in GMAC IO
which is successfully rolled out in UK (XP) & Australia (NR & XP). The objective of the project is to
construct, test and deploy the Extended Portal and New Response modules of GSS application to the
selected set of 8 European countries.
This will bring together all GMAC IO dealer facing systems under a single web-portal and
provide much needed “integration” for the Dealers. This programme once launched will improve the
overall efficiency, productivity & quality for Dealers & GMAC IO. Global Solution Smart Link (GSS)
Programme will provide the dealer with “Single Sign-On” and “Straight-Through-Processing” capability
and a direct interface to GMAC IO back-office applications. The end goal of the programme is to
ensure that all Dealer-GMAC IO transactions are enacted through the Smart Link Portal.
This project includes the Delegated Administration sub-project. This project is aimed at
delegating the rights of a GISA (GMAC Internal System administrator) to dealer user/s to manage
users at dealership and dealer account level. The authorized dealer users with delegated
administration rights will be able to administer other dealer users within the same dealer account
based on the dealership hierarchy.

E-Mail, get that contact information from Bizcard Scanner, design and print the Address Lists and
Address Labels, synchronization with Cell Phone, Outlook 2003, and some other Databases and the

The purpose of the tool is to track and monitor the regular construction activities like
permissions from different departments, daily material purchase and utilization tracking budget
estimation, booking of flats and finance monitoring. The above construction activities are done by
different roles (Managing Director, Project Manager, Purchase Order Manager, Marketing Manager
and Finance Manager) based on which the ProTrack is divided in to different modules.
Managing Director will control the agreements with landlord, floor plans with architects,
Approved bank details, payments schedule and permissions from all departments like BDA,BWSSB
and BESOM.
Project Manager is responsible for detailed planning and execution by using the purchased
materials. Project Manger prepares the material indent receives the material to the site. Reports are
generated automatically for both budget and Schedule Variance, Purchase order Manager will identify
the different suppliers and Purchase the materials required for different project managers. Marketing
manager is responsible for booking of flats and collect the cheques as soon as the project reaches
corresponding construction phase. Finance Manger is responsible to track the incoming and outgoing
cheques for each Project.
