10. Professional Practices Designer: Maggie Lair 3/21/2011 The color concept for this design is simple. For the most part a neutral paint color will cover the walls to allow for the natural day light to reflect off the walls creating a warm feeling throughout the space. To bring focus to the service and display area, bright, bold colors will be used. Modern, sleek lines, and warm tones are all words that describe the overall theme for Samantha’s patisserie shop, SUGAR . The straight, modern lines will be complimented with the use of curved lines in the pastry display case. Warm neutral colors will be used throughout the space with splashes of vibrant colors to create an interesting focal point in the space.
