BTECH PROJECT:
TITLE Free vibrational analysis of radial drilling machine by using ANSYS and
MATLAB.
In the present work vibration analysis of the radial drilling machine is done by using
MATLAB and ANSYS. The radial drilling machine natural frequencies are calculated
in the ANSYS, the results obtained are compared with the FEM results. The work has
been carried to derive a global element stiffness matrix and mass matrix for drilling
machine by FEM method and the equations are solved in the MATLAB. Modes were
drawn by using eigenvectors of corresponding natural frequencies.
