in Pitești, Romania. He is 1.9m tall and

medal, competing in triple jump at the
2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Marian’s best
personal mark in triple jump is 17.81m.
He suffered a serious knee injury, called
tendonitis, so, he didn’t participate in the 2009
World Championships in Athletics.
