Many people are driven by fear(3)
Many reasons for a fearful life: traumatic experience,
unrealistic expectations etc.
Overcome fear with faith
1Joh 4:17 “ This way, love has the run of the house,
becomes at home and mature in us, so that we're free of
worry on Judgment Day--our standing in the world is
identical with Christ's ” (The Message)
Rom 8:35 “Do you think anyone is going to be able to
drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us?
There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred,
not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not
backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture ”

Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life
Jer 29:11 “ I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out--plans (purpose)
to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope
for ” (New Century Version)
Knowing your purpose simplifies your life
Isa 26:3 “ You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose
firm and put their trust in you ” (Today’s English Version)
Knowing your purpose focuses your life
Without purpose, you will keep changing directions, school subjects,
university courses, jobs, relationships, churches etc.

Phi 3:13 “ I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the
past and looking forward to what lies ahead ” (New Living Translation)
10. Benefits of a purpose driven life
Knowing your purpose motivates your life
George Bernard Shaw wrote:
“ This is the true joy of life: the being used up for a
purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one: being a
force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish clot of
ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will
not devote itself to making you happy ”
Knowing your purpose prepares you for eternity
Its is not what others say about your life but what God
says
Earthly legacies are short sighted
11. Eventually, we're all going to end up kneeling side by side in the place
of judgment, facing God. (Rom 14:10c)(New Living Translation)
On the day of judgment God will ask from
each one of us:
“ What did you do with my Son, Jesus
Christ ? ”
“ What did you do with what I gave you ? ”
The first question will determine where
you will spend eternity.
The second question will determine what
you do in eternity.
