2. In this opening sequence the first shot we see is the logo of the production company ‘NEW
LINE CINEMA’. This company is owned by Warner Bros. We see a young female character at
the very beginning and so we assume she has some importance in the film and then his film
then goes into a montage of shots that are made to look like memories that reflect part of
the storyline Most of the montage is quite hard to make out, again reflecting themes that
are in the film. The titles and credits appear throughout the montage while slow, sad music
is playing.
