2. I am currently completing my master’s of
education in the Secondary Science ProTeach
program at UF. Below is a photo of me during
my student teaching internship at Kanapaha
Middle school. Next to it is a photo of me and
my wonderful fiancé, Mit. We just recently got
engaged.
3. I enjoy hiking and
being outside in nature. I
worked in state parks for a short
time, and I hope to incorporate
outdoor learning into my
teaching toolkit. These photos
were taken in various parks in
Florida.
4. I love to cook!
I have been a
vegetarian for 15
years and I love
trying new
vegetarian recipes
from different
world cuisines.
Nothing makes me
happier than
sharing homemade
food with friends
and family. In
fact, my fiancé and
I met at a weekly
vegetarian potluck
among friends.
