Sun Chips claim that they are a healthier chip
company by using whole grains and all
natural vegetables to get their
flavoring, which can out shine your regular
potato chips. They also try to do their part in
helping the Earth and by making their
company go green. They have all solar
energy to power two of their largest locations.
They also tried by making each bag
environmentally friendly by making them out
of recyclable materials instead of regular
plastic.
3. Good or Bad? Both!
The Positive
There is an environmentally friendly demand
of products as it was made from plants and not
plastic which means could easily break down in
compost. This also helps out our Earth in cutting
down the amount of plastic we throw away.
The Negative
Way too loud. The bag was released in 2009 and
only stayed on the shelves for 18 months when
sales of the chips dropped 11% and were taken off
the shelves and replaced with their old plastic
packaging again.
