Natalia Herreros from Salesianos Los Boscos school in class 1oA ESO discusses Easter week traditions in Spain and her village of Cabezón de Cameros. In Spain, Easter week commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ which is an important religious belief. Her village celebrates by carrying a coffin up a mountain to represent Jesus' death and resurrection, though last year heavy snow prevented the tradition; they also decorate with candies on Palm Sunday.

In Spain celebrate Easter week with death and
resurrection of Jesus. Here is very important
because we believe in it.

4. CELEBRATION IN MY VILLAGE
My village is Cabezón de Cameros, it’s beautiful.
We take an coffin and wok to the top of the mountain.
The last year we don’t celebrated, because it’s snow.

5. PALM SUNDAY
This day also belongs to Easter week.
In my village we hung candies and then we eat.
